Legendary country star George Strait is hosting an intimate fundraising dinner and concert—Strait To The Heart—on Sunday, July 27 at the Estancia at Thunder Valley indoor arena in Boerne, Texas. Hosted under his Vaqueros del Mar foundation alongside Tom Cusick, proceeds will go directly to flood victims through the 501(c)(3) Vaqueros del Mar Texas Flood Relief Fund.
The July 4 flash floods in the Texas Hill Country were catastrophic, tragically killing more than 120 people and leaving over 160 missing in areas like Kerr and Kendall counties. Strait, a Tampico Hill Country resident, expressed deep sympathy.
“The destruction and loss in our community from the recent floods is hard to wrap your head around… The goal… is to raise meaningful, immediate support… while also honoring the first responders.
George will perform alongside his Ace in the Hole Band and an all-star lineup including William Beckmann, Ray Benson, Wade Bowen, Dean Dillon, Riley Green, Randy Houser, Jamey Johnson, Hudson Westbrook, Kyle Park, and others.
