Billie Eilish Teases 3D Collab with James Cameron

At a recent concert in Manchester on July 19, Billie Eilish surprised fans by announcing a new collaboration with acclaimed filmmaker James Cameron. During a pause in her Hit Me Hard and Soft tour performance, Eilish acknowledged the presence of additional cameras throughout the venue and shared that something special was in the works.

“You may have noticed more cameras than usual tonight,” she told the crowd. “I can’t say much, but we’re cooking up something very special with someone named James Cameron.”

James Cameron, known for directing blockbuster films such as Titanic and Avatar, was reportedly in attendance at the concert, where footage was being filmed. While specific details about the project have not yet been released.

This would not be Billie Eilish’s first foray into concert filmmaking. In 2021, she releenergy and emotion of Eilish’s live performances with the cinematic expertise Cameron is known for.ased Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles, a stylized visual performance that combined live music with animated storytelling. Her collaboration with Cameron, however, signals a more immersive and technically ambitious project.

The new film is expected to draw from her four scheduled shows in Manchester, incorporating different performances to create a comprehensive and dynamic representation of her current tour. A representative confirmed that more information will be made available in the coming months.

With her unique style and Cameron’s visionary approach to filmmaking, the project is anticipated to bring a new level of depth and innovation to the concert film genre. Fans around the world are eagerly awaiting further announcements.

The next year, I moved cross-country and became co-host and story producer at KTVN-TV in Reno, Nevada. I also became the medical reporter for the news department. Three years later, I moved to Louisville, Kentucky and became host and producer of a morning show called today in WAVE Country at WAVE-TV, Channel 3, the NBC affiliate. Following three years there, I moved to Los Angeles and became senior correspondent at the Turner Entertainment Reportn, an internationally-syndicated entertainment entertainment news service owned by CNN. I went back to school afterwards and got an MFA in Creative Nonfiction at Goucher College in Towson, Maryland, a suburb of Baltimore. Oh, yes. I won a hundred thousand dollars on the 100 Thousand Dollar Pyramid, then hosted by Dick Clark.
